Elvira Wayans, Jr. is American writer. She is the sister of Dwayne Wayans, Keenen Ivory Wayans, Damon Wayans, Kim Wayans, Shawn Wayans, and Marlon Wayans. She is the mother of Damien Dante Wayansand Chaunte Wayans, the aunt of Damon Wayans, Jr., Michael Wayans, Cara Mia Wayans, Kyla Wayans and Craig Wayans.

Elvira Wayans, Jr. was born in New York City, New York, the daughter of Elvira Wayans, Sr., a homemaker and social worker, and Howell Wayans, a supermarket manager. Her family was involved in the Jehovah's Witnesses religion. She and her family lived in New York's Chelsea neighborhood. She is the sister of Keenen, Dwayne, [[Elvira WayansKim, Damon, Elvira Wayans, Jr. Nadia Wayans, Devonne WayansShawn and Marlon.

Even though she is not involved in Hollywood like her brothers and sisters, she wrote on My Wife and Kids
