Hello Nora Abazed. I see that you've removed article tags, such as that for conflict of interest, from several articles to which you've been a primary contributor. It's apparent from your contributions that you have a close connection with both Transtek and Abdulsalam Haykal and have an interest in seeing each promoted on Misplaced Pages. Moreover, much of the early material you contributed on each could, in all probability, be known only to an individual in close proximity to the subjects. The Misplaced Pages community strongly discourages editors from contributing to articles when such a connection exists; such relationship makes it impossible to contribute with a neutral point of view. The Haykal piece remains is missing citations, has one failed reference check, and contains WP:LINKSPAM; the Transtek piece is improved since you deleted a lot of the content that read like a press release, but is still lacking citations. I've tagged each accordingly. By the way, my commentary here in no way reflects on the articles' subjects, each of which I think passes the requirement for notability. I'd be happy to answer any questions you have about this or discuss it further with you; leave a note below and I'll see it. Regards, Jim Ward 20:01, 9 May 2009 (UTC)
- Thank you Jim. Does it look better now. I'm a journalist, and know Haykal and his work through interviews. I make contributions on Misplaced Pages under other names too. Thanks again. Nora abazed (talk) 07:58, 17 May 2009 (UTC)
- The article is improved, however the conflict of interest issue hasn't changed: one or more major contributors to the article is conflicted, as I've explained above, at User talk:Levanteditor, at Talk:Abdulsalam Haykal and at WP:COIN. You've now removed the {{COI}} tags on multiple occasions from this article and from Transtek without ever explaining why you've done so or arguing that the assignation of COI is wrong. Why?
- Oh, and seeing that you mentioned it: using material from an interview you've done with a subject for a Misplaced Pages article is original research and is prohibited by policy. Jim Ward 06:12, 24 May 2009 (UTC)
- I also wanted to drop by and ask a couple of questions along the same lines. Transtek was deleted (and then restored per your request), but I don't see where you've made an attempt to engage in a discussion about improving the article on the article's talk page. However, I may have missed discussions elsewhere. Could you point them out in case I missed anything?
- Also, it does seem that you have a conflict of interest regarding the subject. Could you address that here so we can see what's going on and hopefully put it behind us? Also, I would encourage you to read our info on writing neutrally with a reminder that articles shouldn't be slanted positively or negatively. I hope to see your reply soon. - I added an edit request on the page. How do you like me to handle the coi issue? Thank you very much for your help. But I'm not as experienced on Misplaced Pages.

Wikistalker, how pity!

Edit request
Hi you placed {{requestedit}} on Talk:Transtek but you haven't written anything that you would like to be included. Could you either add something that you want including or remove the template? Thanks. Smartse (talk) 11:19, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
- Ah sorry, I missed the bit that said that you have interviewed people involved - is there anything that you wish to be added however? Smartse (talk) 13:45, 29 May 2009 (UTC)
