It is a type of sausage; it consists of ground meat, with various spices including cumin, garlic,salt, and red pepper, fed into a sausage casing and allowed to dry for several weeks. It can be more or less spicy.
Soujouk(Sucuk) is food that needs to be eaten cooked. The traditional style is to cut it in slices and cook it without adding any oil. Eggs are complementary to soujouk and are believed to be a delicacy.
