Brittany Hargest
Musical artist

Brittany Lynne Hargest (born August 2, 1988 in Durham, North Carolina) is a Christian singer and dancer and was the youngest member of the Christian/pop group Jump5, whom she was in with her big brother Brandon Hargest. She is the daughter of Greg Hargest and Robin Hargest. Hargest is a Methodist Christian. She grew up in the Nashville suburb of Franklin, Tennessee with her close-knit family, singing, dancing, and competing in gymnastics competitions. She has a dog named Jumper who has she past deemed as Jump5's mascot.

Personal life

Since the age of two, she has been studying voice, piano, guitar, dance and gymnastics. Along with her brother, she has appeared in many videos and has recorded for several different compilation albums. When she was six years old, she landed a part in A Country Christmas at the star-launching theme park Opryland USA, at which she was given the nickname of "Injury Girl" because of a string of unfortunate happenings during each show. When she tried out for the group that would become Jump5, she sang "Somewhere Over the Rainbow". She says she didn't sing well - she started on the wrong key - and got in on her talent for dancing.

Brittany is a soprano. She has done some songwriting in addition to singing. She cowrote "Feels Like Falling" Jump5's 2004 release Dreaming in Color and several for their most recent holiday release, Rock This Christmas. She also cowrote three songs on the Jump5 album Hello and Goodbye. Hargest has recently started a pop/rock brother-sister duo named Guest with brother Brandon Hargest. They have a EP available on itunes called Perfect.

She was on Rascal Flatts music video called What Hurts the Most.
