WWE Vengeance is an annual WWE event, which started in 2001 replacing WWE Armageddon for that year and eventually took over Fully Loaded's pay-per-view spot in 2002. As of 2004, Venegance is a RAW exclusive pay-per-view event, but in 2003 it was a SmackDown! event.

2001

This event was held on December 9, 2001 at the San Diego Sports Arena in San Diego, California. The theme song was "Sinner" by Drowning Pool.

2002

This event was held on July 21, 2002 in at the Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan. The theme song was "Downfall" by Trust Company.

Other moments

This event also featured Triple H making a decision between RAW and SmackDown!. Triple H was going to stay on SmackDown! until Shawn Michaels talked him into leaving for RAW, igniting the cross-brand feud between Stephanie McMahon and Eric Bischoff.

2003

This event was held on July 27, 2003 at the Pepsi Arena in Denver, Colorado. The theme song was "Price To Play" by Staind

2004

This event was held on July 11, 2004 at the Hartford Civic Center in Hartford, Connecticut.

2005

This event was held on June 26, 2005 at the Thomas and Mack Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The theme song was "Happy?" by Mudvayne.

Other moments

This event also featured the return of The Godfather, who made his way to the ring immediately after Lilian Garcia had proposed to Viscera and convinced Viscera to leave with his hos (whores), abandoning a crying Garcia in the ring.
