• WWE held it's seventh annual draft on the April 13 episode of Raw, in which 12 wrestlers were drafted to different brands.
• On April 15, the Japanese based promotion Dragon Gate announced it was expanding into the United States, with it's first show scheduled for July 25 in Philadelphia, Pennsylannia.
• On April 15, WWE held it's Supplemental Draft in which 24 wrestlers were drafted to different brands.
• On April 16:

• Daniel Covell returned to TNA television under his "Fallen Angel" Christopher Daniels character on Impact!.
• Superstars, a new WWE television series, debuted on WGN America in the United States.

• At Lockdown on April 19:

• Angelina Love defeated Taylor Wilde and defending champion Awesome Kong in a three way six sides of steel cage match to win the TNA Women's Knockout Championship.
• Team 3D (Brother Ray and Brother Devon) defeated Beer Money, Inc. (Robert Roode and James Storm) to win the TNA World Tag Team Championship and retain the IWGP Tag Team Championship in a Philadelphia Street Fight.
• Mick Foley defeated defending champion Sting in a six sides of steel cage match to win the TNA World Heavyweight Championship.
• Bobby Lashley made his TNA debut.

• On the April 23 episode of Impact!, William Mueller made his TNA debut as "Jethro Holliday".

1. Avoid using dirtsheets as sources. Adhere to WP:RS when adding information with a source to articles. For a list of reliable and unreliable wrestling-related sources see Misplaced Pages:WikiProject Professional wrestling/Style guide#Sources.
2. Refer to WP:NC during the process of renaming an article, if a name does not adhere to these guidelines, be bold and move the article to the correct target name. If there is a naming conflict, follow the steps to a resolution or discuss the move on the project's talk page.
3. Avoid overlinking in an article. If a subject has been linked once already in the body paragraphs, there is no need to link it again. Lists are the only exceptions to this policy.
4. The lead section of an article should introduce the subject and summarize the entire article's contents. The size of the lead will depend on the size of the article.
5. Adhere strictly to the Biographies of living persons policy when adding to information to biography articles.

1. Only add controversial, possibly contentious or libellous information if it comes from a reliable source and is verifiable.
2. Make sure that all information contained in biographies of living persons is written from a non-point of view perspective.

• 17 - World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) presents Judgment Day
• 24 - Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) presents Sacrifice

• At Backlash on April 26:

• Christian defeated the defending champion Jack Swagger to win the ECW Championship in a singles match.
• Randy Orton won the WWE Championship in a six-man tag team match, as a result of his team, including Cody Rhodes and Ted DiBiase, defeating the team of defending champion Triple H, Batista and Shane McMahon.
• Edge won the World Heavyweight Championship in a Last Man Standing match by defeating defending champion John Cena.

• On April 28, "Playboy" Buddy Rose was found dead in his home in Vancouver, Washington. His death was later attributed to natural causes.
• On the April 30 episode of Impact!, Hernandez was written off television to undergo neck surgery.
• On May 2, Davey Richards won the Full Impact Pro World Heavyweight Championship, after the defending champion, Tyler Black, forfeited the title match due to an injury.
• On May 3, The Canadian Ninjas (Nicole Matthews and Portia Perez) won the Shimmer Tag Team Championship by defeating Ashley Lane and Nevaeh; this match will be released on Shimmer Volume 26.
• On May 5:
  • Manabu Nakanishi won the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, defeating the defending champion Hiroshi Tanahashi.
  • WWE signed April Jeanette, better known by her ring name Miss April, to a developmental contract.
• On May 8, WWE signed Fred Sampson to a developmental contract.
• TNA announced a new television show, TNA Epics, that will broadcast its inaugural show on May 15 on Bravo in the United Kingdom.

  • El Hijo del Santo returned to Asistencia Asesoría y Administración at their television tapings for the first time since 1995.
• Florida Championship Wrestling wrestler Fifi suffered a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
• Due to a double booking of the Pepsi Center in Denver with a game from the NBA Playoffs, WWE announced on May 20 that the May 25 episode of Raw was to be moved to to the Staples Center in Los Angeles.
• On May 22
  • Total Nonstop Action Wrestling (TNA) announced that Shane Sewell had been released from his contract.
  • Chikara announced that the Young Lions Cup champion Equinox had suffered an ankle injury; he will be sidelined for approximately four weeks.

• At Sacrifice on May 24, Sting defeated Mick Foley, Jeff Jarrett, and Kurt Angle in an Ultimate Sacrifice match by pinning Angle, which meant that he took over Angle's position as the leader of The Main Event Mafia.
• Mr. Kennedy made his return to WWE television on the May 25 episode of Raw, but was released four days later on May 29.
• On May 26, Ephesto defeated Rey Bucanero to win the CMLL World Light Heavyweight Championship, after Bucanero suffered a legitimate knee injury.

    • Kofi Kingston won the WWE United States Championship by defeating defending champion Montel Vontavious Porter.
• On June 2, Samoa Joe was diagnosed with a torn triceps and broken fingers.

• At WWE's Extreme Rules pay-per-view on June 7:

• Chris Jericho won the WWE Intercontinental Championship for a record ninth time by defeating Rey Mysterio in a No Holds Barred match.
• Tommy Dreamer won the ECW Championship by defeating the defending champion Christian and Jack Swagger in a Triple Threat Hardcore match.
• Batista won the WWE Championship by defeating Randy Orton in a steel cage match.
• Jeff Hardy defeated World Heavyweight Champion Edge in a Ladder match to win the title.
• Following the Ladder match, CM Punk cashed in his Money in the Bank briefcase and defeated Hardy to win the World Heavyweight Championship.

• On June 8:

• "Umaga" Eddie Fatu was released from his WWE contract for violating the WWE Wellness Program, and refusing to seek drug rehabilitation.
• On WWE Raw:

• Vickie Guerrero quit WWE, and thus, her position as the Raw brand's General Manager.
• Triple H returned to WWE television after a two-month hiatus.

• On June 9, WWE reported that Batista had suffered a complete torn left bicep. He underwent surgery to repair it the followingday, and is expected to have at least four months of rehabilitation.
• On June 13:

• Mitsuharu Misawa died at the age of 46, after becoming unconscious in the ring while wrestling during a Pro Wrestling Noah live event.
• Austin Aries defeated Jerry Lynn to win the ROH World Championship, making Aries the only person to hold the title more than once.
• At AAA's Triplemania XVII pay-per-view :

• Extreme Tiger defeated Alex Koslov, Crazy Boy and Alan Stone in a Four-Way Elimination Hardcore match for the AAA Cruiserweight Championship.
• Dr. Wagner, Jr. defeated El Mesias for the AAA World Heavyweight Championship.

• Gerald Brisco suffered a series of strokes before and during June 13 and 14, and is scheduled for surgery.
• On June 14:

• Jun Akiyama vacated Pro Wrestling Noah's GHC Heavyweight Championship due to being diagnosed with spinal disc herniation in his lower back.
• Go Shiozaki defeated Takeshi Rikio to win the vacant GHC Heavyweight Championship.

• On June 15

• Referee Ted Tanabe died at the age of 46, after suffering a heart attack in the ring the previous night while officiating a match at a live event for Osaka Pro Wrestling.
• On Raw:

• Randy Orton defeated Big Show, John Cena, and Triple H in a Fatal-Four Way match to win the WWE Championship.
• WWE Chairman Vince McMahon announced Donald Trump as the new scripted owner of the Raw franchise.

• On June 17, Dos Caras, Jr. confirmed that he signed a three-year contract with WWE.
• On June 19, WWE released Candice Michelle and Jimmy Reiher, Jr. (Sim Snuka).
• On June 20, Hiroshi Tanahashi defeated Manabu Nakanishi in Osaka, Japan to win the IWGP Heavyweight Championship.
