Bhadrawati is a small town situated in the Chandrapur district of Maharashtra, India. Bhadrawati is connected by Railway, it is on southern railway.It is well connected with road, it 18 km from famous

The Gavlala, a small hamlet near Bhadrawati, has been excavated by the Department of Ancient Indian History, Culture and Archeology, Rashtrasant Tukadoji Maharaj Nagpur University, Nagpur during 2006–07. They unearthed fortifications of the Vakataka period.

The hilltop of Ganesh tekadi has a small Ganesh temple and its architecture and archeological remains refers the art of late ancient historic period.

It is a small city, having very huge Ordnance Factory Chanda which is the Asia's largest ordnance factory. This area is surrounded by open cast coal mines. There are mines at Majri area , chargaon, new kunada,telvasa, dhorwasa.

Famous temples are Jain mandir, the Bodhha vastu of vijasan, Ganesh mandir of Gavrala.

Bhadrawati is Taluka place. There are around twenty village in this taluka. Aswale guruji is one of promient and respected citizen of bhadrawati, he served as a teacher for more than 30 years and now runs ACC dealership.
