This incomplete table contains general information about NVIDIA's GPUs and videocards based on official NVIDIA specifications.

DirectX version note

DirectX version means key available feature.

  • DirectX 6 - multitexturing
  • DirectX 7 - transformation clipping and lighting (TCL or simply T&L)
  • DirectX 8.0 - shaders version 1.1
  • DirectX 8.1 - shaders version 1.4 (ATI Radeon only)
  • DirectX 9 - shaders version 2.0
  • DirectX 9c - shaders version 3.0
