Revision as of 17:37, 14 October 2009 by 80.47.162.190 (talk)(diff) ← Previous revision | Latest revision (diff) | Newer revision → (diff)- In Hardware section: Ipod classic (5th gen) harddrives are also supplied by Samsung at 3600rpm. Is specifying the rpm really necessary? It seems inconsistent with the rest of the table.
- Correct sales volume inconsistency between 2 intro paragraph and info box.
- Add links to critical articles (at the moment all links are raving about the iPod)
- Second gen iPod touch photo is of first gen iPod touch.
Mistake in ipod line family chart! fourth generation classic photo ipod needs correction from "..4G iPod" to "..40G iPod"..(this was correct, 4G intended to mean 4th generation)Change ipod line family picture to new ipod family picture- UPDATE!! New Style iPods out now! - http://www.apple.com/ipodclassic/ http://www.apple.com/ipodnano/ http://www.apple.com/ipodtouch/
- Add the fact that there is no custom equalizer on the iPod, only presets, under the "Equalizer" section
- Try to add references to un-referenced paragraphs
- Remove iPhone from the list of iPods in the introduction
- Keep updated (new models, sales info, etc.).
Add Toyota to brands of automobile makers offering iPod interface to car stereo (not default in all models, must be purchased separately, but is available)
- hotlink/cross-reference word "iPhone"
Add in the battery life for the various models (in the model matrix).Battery column added 11/01/07.Put article up as a good article candidate (see Good Article Candidate page)Passed as Good Article.Remove InfoBox at the top of the article- Units sold is duplicated in the summary box on the right
- Add discussion that 5G units are having sound issues due to bad circuit board connections. Apple is selectively ackowledging the problem and repairing/replacing out of warranty units at their discretion (discussion at http://forums.macnn.com/103/ipod-iphone-and-apple-tv/351485/no-sound-ipod/). There may be other sources with more pointed cause & effect discussion, but the aforementioned site discusses the problem and how to go about rectifying it with Apple.
