The Azerbaijani Special Forces (Template:Lang-az) are the special operations unit of the Azerbaijani Navy. The 641st Special Warfare Unit of the Azeri Navy has conducted joint training with United States Navy SEALs from SEAL Team 2.
The training and organisation structure of the Tigers is similar to Turkish special forces, Su Altı Taarruz and American Special Forces who have close training relationships with them. The first Tiger units were in Ganja following a joint training program with Turkey.
