Arvanites (Arvanitë in Albanian) are people who came from Albania and settled various Greek lands during the Middle Ages. Their language is Arvanitika, which is a form of Southern Albanian. They are greatly influenced by the Greek culture. You can find music CDs featuring Arvanitika songs (many times they are translated to Greek).
