Hazara is located in NWFP, Pakistan. The population of Hazara Division is estimated to be over 4.5 million in 2005. The total area of Hazara Division is 18013 Sq. Kms. Whereof District Haripur having an area of 1763 Sq. Kms has 0.7 million population; District Abbottabad having an area of 1802 Sq.Kms has 1 million population; District Mansehra having an area of 5957 Sq. Kms has 1.4 million population; District Batagram having an area of 910 Sq. Kms has 0.5 million population and District Kohistan having an area of 7581 Sq. Kms has 0.6 million population. University of Hazara is provides higher education to people of the region.
