The National Historical Museum (Muzeu Historik Kombetar) in Tirana is Albania's largest museum. It was founded in 28th october 1981. The building of the museum required the demolition of the former Tirana Municipal Building.

The National Historical Museum includes the following pavillions: Antiquity, Medioeval, Albanian Renaissance, Iconography, Ethnoculture, Antifascist War, and Communist Genocide.
