While doing my job as a new article patroller, I have noticed that you and Joyous! are creating several articles about Newbery winners. I am sure there are some in the Misplaced Pages community that would feel that the list of recipients in the Newbery Medal article is sufficient and that each book having its own article is overkill and not encyclopedic. For now, I am going to indicate that each new article has been patrolled, on the basis that each book article should be improved in the future to include at least a basic story line. That is the kind of information our Misplaced Pages users would be looking for, and that is why we are all here, isn't it. Thanks. Truthanado (talk) 18:05, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

In the future, would you please use the {{Reflist}} template instead of the <References /> tag in the Reference section. Usage of the template is preferred and has several advantages. Thanks. Truthanado (talk) 18:27, 30 December 2009 (UTC)

Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis assessment

I just wanted to thank you for assessing the article Deutscher Jugendliteraturpreis after a long wait on the Articles for Assessment list. Thank you for your comments, which have been very helpful as I have recently updated and extended the article. The only querie I had was about your third point: formatting the article into a table. While I can see some of the benefits of this, I am not sure how it could be implemented in this particular context. It is hard to say whether a source is reliable without knowing what it is and what the context is. The best place to ask is at the the reliable sources noticeboard. You said a few days ago that there had been "there has been substantial improvement to the list". Could you clarify (on the FLRC page) whether this means you think the list can be kept at FL status or whether there are more issues? Thanks, Dabomb87 (talk) 04:49, 14 January 2010 (UTC)
