It has developed into an online community where friends can post pictures, write blogs and send messages to one another, and is similar in format to MySpace.
Users create an account (or respond to an invitation), then invite their friends to do the same, so that they can see their account. In the event that a friend changes their postal addresses, email addresses, phone numbers or other details should change, he or she will be notified of the fact, and will therefore always have up to date contact information. Bebo also allows users to post comments in various sections of a users account such as pictures, blogs, white board and the users account home page.
Bebo has recently come under attack from a spammer going by the name of j3wj3w, Bebo has taken no action against this user, despite repeated offenses.
