Congregation Beth Jacob of Atlanta, GA was started over half a century ago to serve the diminishing Orthodox Jewish populace of Atlanta, GA. The first full time rabbi was Rabbi Emanuel Feldman, at the time a newly married young graduate of Yeshivas Ner Yisroel of Baltimore, MD. He remained with the synogouge for 39 years until his retirement in the early nineties. His son, Rabbi Ilan Feldman took over as rabbi, and is currently the spiritual leader of Beth Jacob.

Atlanta Community

Since the founding of Beth Jacob, as the community grew, religious needs also grew. Today, the Atlanta Jewish community institutions such as day schools, Yeshiva Ohr Yisrael, Temima High School for Girls, Atlanta Scholars Kollel, and over 600 frum families.
