Alesha Dixon, born on October 7 1978 in Welwyn Garden City, Hertfordshire, UK, is a British singer and former member of girl group Mis-Teeq.

Since the Mis-teeq split in January 2004, Alesha has signed to Polydor Records and has been working on tracks with many producers, including Richard X. She is due to release solo material in 2006.
