The name first started life on YAHOO! sometime around 2000/2001 (and is known by only 4 people on the internet, 3 of which are personalities of Billy himself) having forgotten the log-in details for my original "DUCK1979" screen name I created there in the first year or two of me first getting the internet (wish this hadn't happened), and starting to use Yahoo on a more regular basis (e.g. Yahoo Groups, messenger + the now defunct photo albums they had before snapping up FLICKR).

Fun fact: Billy owns no less than 245,258 messageboards, all with zero posts by anyone other than himself. Billy enjoys using "me" as a substitute for "my" and shamelessly advertising all his lame sites in ways that suggest they don't actually belong to him (LOL) on twitter and other networks in the hope that someone will visit.
At least 553 of his websites are either amazon or google search pages with ads and other shit pretending to be a real search page.
