Your recent edits to Talk:History of IBM could give Misplaced Pages contributors the impression that you may consider legal or other "off-wiki" action against them, or against Misplaced Pages itself. Please note that making such threats on Misplaced Pages is strictly prohibited under Misplaced Pages's policies on legal threats and civility. Users who make such threats may be blocked. If you have a dispute with the content of any page on Misplaced Pages, please follow the proper channels for dispute resolution. Please be sure to comment on content not contributors, and where possible make specific suggestions for changes supported by reliable independent sources and focusing especially on verifiable errors of fact. Thank you. —ShadowRanger 00:20, 1 April 2010 (UTC)

I do not endorse or adhere to Misplaced Pages rules, but rather I adhere to legal obligation in all jurisdictions--as should you, whoever you are. I do not make contributions to your articles nor do I wish to. I will not appeal to or combine with anonymous committees or panels. Don't quote me Misplaced Pages rules and customs, as I only function under the law and journalistic ethics. CDA 230 does not cover Misplaced Pages contributors. If you feel you wish to "block me" or take further punitive action for issuing my lawful statement, this in aggravation of the existing libels and defamation, that is your decision. Misplaced Pages has already shown its ability to group punish, bully and falsify. I am not a member of your community, nor will I be. Do not contact me again though this page only through my legitimate email as shown below. In that respect, I do not respond to anonymous individuals--not you or anyone; but anyone in the world can easily reach me on my open email for any question on any topic. Other than this reply, I shall not reply to your threats or admonishments in the future in the course of my lawful conduct. I ask you to be truthful and lawful. To communicate with me via email or phone, you must identify yourself by real first and last name as is common in civilized society. That said, I repeat what I have stated before and please read it well: "This is Edwin Black, author of IBM and the Holocaust. My presence on Misplaced Pages is not an endorsement of its policies, rules or concepts. It has been brought to my attention that false statements have been made about me and my work specifically by a registered Misplaced Pages editor under the pseudonym “Blaxthos” working in league with other IBM advocates including IBM archivist Paul Lasewicz, who is and was under the means and control of IBM and acting as an agent of that company. Those who have attempted to correct these false statements and insert factual perspective have been publicly disparaged and censored. To “Blaxthos,” to Paul Lasewicz the corporate archivist of IBM, and to the few individuals working in concert and combination with them: Cease and desist in further false assertions, false statements, false light and trade disparagement about me and my book in this Misplaced Pages article or any other Misplaced Pages article. If anyone wants to send me an email about this topic, I can be reached at inquiry@edwinblack.com. Once more, cease and desist."
You have been indefinitely blocked from editing for making legal threats or taking legal action. You are not allowed to edit Misplaced Pages as long as the threats stand or the legal action is unresolved. If you believe this block is unjustified you may contest this block by adding the text{{unblock|Your reason here}}
below, but you should read our guide to appealing blocks first. TNXMan 13:28, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
I repeat what stated before. I do not believe in your edit system and will not make contributions to your articles. You may block or unblock as you wish, as I will not join your editing process. But cease the libel and defamation.
- Misplaced Pages's policy on defamation is to immediately delete libelous material when it has been identified. If you believe that you are the subject of a libelous statement on Misplaced Pages, please contact the information team at info-enwikimedia.org. TNXMan 13:45, 1 April 2010 (UTC)
