Staff
Employed by North Dakota State University, Pavek Hall is run by a live-in Professional Hall Director. Under the supervision of the Hall Director 8 well trained paraprofessional staff members serve the Pavek Hall community as Resident Assistants. On floors two through nine, one RA lives on each floor.
Hall Government
Meeting every Tuesday at 9:00pm, the Pavek Hall Government is an in-Hall organization that allows Pavek Hall Students the opportunity to exercise a voice in the development and direction of their community. Open to the Pavek Hall public, everyone is welcome and encouraged to attend meetings for both social and business related purposes.
Each of the floors are represented by at least 2 floor representatives. Additionally, 3 elected liaisons; one for each of the neighboring 3 Highrises (Seim, Sevrinson, and Thompson), attend the Hall Government meetings of neighboring halls and work to keep healthy lines of communication amongst the Highrise community. The organization is led by the Executive board, which consists of the Pavek Hall President, Vice President, Secretary, Treasurer, Residence Hall Association Representative, Dinning Services Representative, and the Programming Council Representative. The Executive board is consulted by the Hall Government Elder, a position held by a Resident Assistant. The Executive board is Advised by the Pavek Hall Director. The Pavek Hall Government contains three committees that are open to the general body; Hall Improvement, Public Relations, and Programming. These committees allow individuals to both exercise current skills in their area of passion and to further develop abilities in areas of interest.
