LAGANA Located in the southern part of Zakinthos it is a very modern place in an old style Greek Island. There are many bars and restaurants there which accomodate both young and old. The main attraction of Laganas and what it is most well renound for is the migration of the Loggerhead turtles. Every year the turtles migrate to the bay of Laganas and lay there eggs on the beach. This happens during the months of June, July and August. The turtles lay there eggs on a protected beach which is watched over by ecologists at all times.
