Each year the President of the United States submits a budget for the following fiscal year:
- United States federal budget, 2007 - $2.8 trillion (submitted February 2006 by President Bush)
- United States federal budget, 2006 - $2.6 trillion (submitted February 2005 by President Bush)
- United States federal budget, 2005 - $2.4 trillion (submitted February 2005 by President Bush)
- United States federal budget, 2004 - $2.2 trillion (submitted February 2004 by President Bush)
- United States federal budget, 2003 - $2.1 trillion (submitted February 2003 by President Bush)
- United States federal budget, 2002 - $2.0 trillion (submitted February 2002 by President Bush)
- United States federal budget, 2001 - $1.8 trillion (submitted February 2001 by President Clinton)
- United States federal budget, 2000 - $1.8 trillion (submitted February 2001 by President Clinton)
