Style

Right now I'm listening to America's Volume Dealer, and you know, Stare Too Long has a very country sound... As for the newest album, Keenans voice shifts between a Ozzy and Grohl kind of, and the sound is more metal than the above (In the Arms of God has an incredible energy). (Anon)

  • Favorite albums. - Hey you should go out and get blind, Deliverance, and Wiseblood. All are divinely awesome (in my opinion), and as a matter of fact, I bought wiseblood back in 99 and I still listen to it virtually everyday. To me the album wiseblood is flawless (to me) and every song is a true gem. And that is a special distinction, cuz I have never picked up an album and like every song... there were always 3or 4 that I geniunely disliked or hated.... (Anon)

Wiseblood was the first album I got from them and it got me into them immediately. People who have not heard CoC are missing out.

Markendust

Why do the pages for their albums from Deliverance on classify them as heavy metal? Shouldn't they be sludge metal?

Rewrite

Corrosion_of_Conformity/rewrite Hey, I just wrote it quickly, then noticed the one here is kinda nice (it's strange I wrote anything with how little I know of the band...), so... it might be incorporatable or something.

Disputed Tag

I added a disputed tag to the Violation of Innocence section. Not sourced and there is no evidence this group exists. Group is on AfD, if it is deleted, this section should be removed.--Isotope23 20:24, 21 February 2006 (UTC)

"The Door" Controversy

Why not reporting here the "The door" controversy? It was published on file sharing systems under the name "Metallica - The Door - New song".

Fair use rationale for Image:Six songs with Mike singing.jpg

Image:Six songs with Mike singing.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Misplaced Pages article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Misplaced Pages:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Misplaced Pages policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images uploaded after 4 May, 2006, and lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot 11:04, 6 June 2007 (UTC)

Current Drummer

Band's myspace lists Stanton Moore as their current drummer. Our infobox lists Jason Patterson. Can anyone confirm/negate which one is correct? MarkMarek 15:51, 11 October 2007 (UTC)
