GA failed

This article needs some more work to get up to GA quality. It is well-sourced, but the prose needs work and some other issues, as follows:

  • Please get rid of that placeholder image, it is quite unsightly.
  • There are far too many red links in the article. Consider choosing 2 or 3 that are more likely to become articles soon and remove the rest for now. Or, create stubs for some of them.

  • The opening sentence is worded in such a way that it sounds like Kensuke Sasaki owns Katsuhiko Nakajima, although I'm sure you mean that Sasaki owns the office. Please reword.
  • "At just 19 years old, and making his pro debut at 15..." is an awkward phrase, please rewrite.
  • Lots of stylistic but grammatically incorrect comma usage in the prose. Please obtain a copyedit for comma usage.
  • The "Career" heading is too long and includes the entire body of prose. Break up into subheadings.

 Done by Suriel1981

  • Remove POV commentary about his age like "just 19 years old" and "the young age of 14".
  • The dates mentioned all need to include years so the statements are durable over time.

GA candidate (2nd nomination)

Just wondering, can this article still pass the above nomination, even without having an image on the page? I don't know too much about what is needed for GA, but i would have thought this was one of the criteria. --SteelersFan UK06 06:14, 21 July 2007 (UTC)

  • There are no free images available of Nakajima right now; there used to be a copyrighted picture, but it was deleted. Also WP:GA? criterion 6b says "a lack of images does not disqualify an article from Good Article status". --MarcK 07:31, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
Brilliant. Well lets keep at it then! --SteelersFan UK06 08:13, 21 July 2007 (UTC)
