Deletion of Haroon ur Rasheed / reverted Model Town Humak page

There was no Misplaced Pages article on a famous Pakistani columnist Haroon ur Rasheed, so I thought to take this initiative and created a page for him. But you deleted that page within few minutes. Yes, it was just created and at that time 'article had no meaningful, substantive content', but you did not let others to contribute!

Dear PMDrive1061, you also reverted my edits in Model Town Humak. Now, I am very curious about your explanation. I am native of this town, yet you reverted my edits. You have even reverted a spelling correction of word 'gazette' by me, it was spelled 'gazzette'. Please explain.

I would appreciate if you could reconsider your actions in aforementioned regard.

Thanks Chjohnny (talk)

Jyani Jat/Mor

Why have you deleted Jyani Jat/Mor this page. This is very famous person and his legands are widely sung. I have put other one for deletion due to the title and you have deleted by other one. Anyway can you change the title of this one to http://en.wikipedia.org/Jyani_Jat/Mor. This title change is to avoid confusion in spelling — Preceding unsigned comment added by MirjaJat (talkcontribs) 03:58, 10 December 2010 (UTC)

Thanks for restoring my article http://en.wikipedia.org/Jyani_Jat/Mor

Now can you please delete the other one. Its a duplicate and was created in error by myself. I myself am unable to delete it. Thank you again, — Preceding unsigned comment added by MirjaJat (talkcontribs) 04:07, 10 December 2010 (UTC)

Shaolin Kempo Karate

I see the history on the Shaolin Kempo Karate page, and I don't understand why it keeps getting deleted. It is a martial arts system that is more widely practiced than Kung Fu in the United States and there are hundreds of dojos and sub-sections of the art that are practiced. It is also unique from American Kenpo in that it is far more complex and incorporates animal forms. It was founded as a proprietary form by Fred Villari, but it continues to evolve and grow. Currently, there are several thousand nationwide practitioners, and it is a completely valid system like Okinawan Karate, Shotokan Karate, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Wing Chun, etc...

I would like to work on the page, and let the wikipedia community contribute knowledge - as there are some secrets that would be really great to flesh out.

Please let there be a Shaolin Kempo Karate page. It is an art, not a business. The business is called "Villari's Martial Arts Studios" and/or "Villari's Self Defense Centers."Kurtsayin (talk) 19:06, 10 December 2010 (UTC) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Kurtsayin (talkcontribs) 18:29, 10 December 2010 (UTC)

I was looking into Shaolin Kempo Karate because of interest in possibly taking a class or two. It is the system taught by what appears to be a large chain of martial arts studios. I wanted to know a little about it's background, how it is viewed in the martical arts community, etc. Of course, I turned to Misplaced Pages as a potential source of hopefully objective information, only to find what appears to be a systematic deletion of any reference to it. So basically Misplaced Pages has no info on one of the most widely taught martial arts systems in the US. The reasons for deletion include references to the page not indicating the importance of the topic. Given the number of people being taught this form of martial arts, I would think it's importance was self evident. You might as well ask what is the imprtance of the rock band Uria Heap, or the TV series She Wolf of London, both of which are arguably more obscure than (and therefore of less importance than) Shaolin Kempo Karate and I can find pages on in Misplaced Pages. This I find completly un-credible as a reason for deletion. This does not give me a lot of faith that Misplaced Pages is an objective source of info, becayse as well intentioned as your deletion may have been in makes it look like Wikipdeia is being manipulated by those who don't want Shaolin Kempo Karate mentioned. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 96.60.85.223 (talk) 21:00, 11 December 2010 (UTC)
