Eastern Block is also often equated with the Warsaw pact.
Former Yugoslavia (and its six former republics Serbia, Montenegro, Croatia, Slovenia, Former Yugoslav Republic of Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina) was never meant to be any particular part of so called Eastern Block or Warsaw pact, specially because of its independent politics from the World War II to 1990s. Yugoslavia was always part of nonalignment world since late 1940s when inform bureau (informbiro) with USSR and Stalin striked out.
