Tórsvøllur is a football stadium on the sport site Gundadalur in Tórshavn, Faroe Islands. The stadium holds 6,000 people and was built in 2000 to provide a grass surface in the island's capital on which international football matches could be played. Previously, the Faroe Islands national team played its home matches in the town of Toftir at the Svangaskarð stadium.
In June 2007, whilst presenting a football programme showing highlights of the Scotland vs Faroe Islands European Qualifier, Sky Sports presenter Richard Keyes commented that it was a 'daft little ground, silly game, fuck off'. This prompted fury amongst Faroe Islanders, with burning effigies of Keyes springing up around the islands in what became known as the Summer of Blood
