Manu Sharma is an Indian acquitted on February 21, 2006 of the murder of Indian model Jessica Lall in Delhi on April 29, 1999. Sharma's acquittal has caused outrage in India, with calls for the case to be reopened to the President, Abdul Kalam. Sharma is the son of Haryana Minister Vinod Sharma.
