He plays as a (P) and was previously a member of the Newcastle Falcons academy. He played for Argentian side Lomas Athletic in 2006, Tynedale, Oloron (Fédérale 1) and appeared for England U18 in the 04/05 season. He played for Oxford University in the varsity match against Cambridge University. He joined Worcester after completion of his Modern Languages degree at Oxford University. Tomaszczyk also played for Haywards Heath RFC in National 3 while completing his studies at Oxford.
