TuckerResearch - when you refer to "one editor's wish to not have one", can you please identify the editor (as you have SlimVirgin). In my mind this is not about pitting two editors against eachother, but if that's the case, then let's be honest about it. It's about the value of infoboxes in articles to do with artists - a value, I for one find dubious. Infoboxes are great for country articles and for articles with statistics - but having an infobox for the sake of having an infox, and then adding subjective information such as "influenced by" and "influenced" doesn't really add much to the page, in my view.
