Patrick Lee "Pat" Garofalo (born 1971) is Minnesota politician and a member of the Minnesota House of Representatives representing District 36B, which includes portions of Dakota and Goodhue counties in the southeastern Twin Cities metropolitan area. A Republican, he is also a network engineer for Allianz Life Insurance of North America. He was the technology coordinator for Minnesota Governor Tim Pawlenty's first campaign in 2002.
Garofalo was first elected in 2004, and was re-elected in 2006, 2008 and 2010. He is currently the chair of the Education Finance Committee, and also serves on the Redistricting, Taxes, and Ways and Means committees. He was an assistant minority whip in 2008.
Garofalo graduated from Rosemount High School in Rosemount in 1989, then went on to Mankato State University in Mankato, earning his B.S. in Law Enforcement in 1994. He and his family live in Farmington.
At present Garofalo sits on his lazy butt sending out immature tweets and playing Call of Duty. He does this during a Government shutdown in which he chose to keep getting paid even though he isn't working. Minnesota tax-payers currently support this welfare queen and his Call of Duty habit. Regarding his taxpayer-funded habit, Garofalo tweeted: "New call of duty map packs rule! No sleep 4 Pat Tonite."
