A beer for you!
Thanks for the barnstar. It's appreciated. SMP0328. (talk) 22:45, 24 July 2011 (UTC) |
- My pleasure. I think that barnstar may be the first barnstar I've ever given anyone. But then again, it's easier to do now that there's a little heart thingy at the top of the page. Cheers (raises glass).Anythingyouwant (talk) 22:50, 24 July 2011 (UTC)

Book cites
It may be passé to most WP editors, but I read real physical hardcover books, either from local public or university libraries, inter-library loan, or a few that I or other family members own. My cites are to those physical copies. And these are the ones that other books and scholarly articles are too as well. Google Books is a mishmash of later editions, alternate editions, paperbacks, who knows what. If you're going to start changing page numbers from physical books to Google Books, we're going to have a problem. Wasted Time R (talk) 03:50, 4 August 2011 (UTC)

Your Arbitration evidence is too long
Hello, Anythingyouwant. Thank you for your recent submission of evidence for the Abortion Arbitration case. As you may be aware, the Arbitration Committee asks that users submitting evidence in cases adhere to limits regarding the length of their submissions. These limits, of User:HersfoldArbClerkBot/Length header/Words words and User:HersfoldArbClerkBot/Length header/Diffs diffs maximum, are in place to ensure that the Arbitration Committee receives only the most important information relevant to the case, and is able to determine an appropriate course of action in a reasonable amount of time. The evidence you have submitted currently exceeds at least one of these limits, and is presently at 1016 words and 25 diffs. Please try to reduce the length of your submission to fit within these limits; this guide may be able to provide some help in doing so. If the length of your evidence is not reduced soon, it may be refactored or removed by a human clerk within a few days. Thank you! If you have any questions or concerns regarding the case, please contact the drafting Arbitrator or case clerk (listed on the case pages); if you have any questions or concerns about this bot, please contact the operator. Refs
Hi Anythingyouwant, hope you are well. Do you know how to edit this list of references - "reflist|2" ] on the Abortion and mental health page? I'd like to fix broken links in it. DMSBel (talk) 18:56, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
- I guess you'd edit each footnote by clicking "edit" in whichever section the footnote is located in. I haven't edited that article (as best I can remember), so there may be some aspect of editing the footnotes that I don't know about. Good luck with that.Anythingyouwant (talk) 20:04, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
- Got it. Thanks. By the way the whole ArbCom Abortion thing currently running, is it worth following? For myself I only heard about it yesterday. I can't make much sense of it, especially the workshop. Though its difficult to remember every thing I have said in the past on a discussion page in relation to abortion, I can't quite recall where I mentioned article naming, or re-naming. Perhaps I suggested something at some point months ago and I have forgotten it. Must look back through the archive when I have the opporuntity. Best to you with your editing.DMSBel (talk) 21:21, 6 September 2011 (UTC)
- Anything I have made a brief comment re the picture (hysterectomy abortion), because that is where I feel the whole thing was derailed initially. My objections to the image at that point had to do with it being a somewhat more uncommon procedure than an induced abortion for medical indications. The picture is of course remarkable, and moving. Have you email I could get in touch with you on?DMSBel (talk) 07:56, 7 September 2011 (UTC)
