DC Meetup 23 - Who should come? You should. Really.
DC MEETUP 23 is the Annual Membership Meeting of Wikimedia District of Columbia and will be held on October 1, 2011 at the Tenleytown-Friendship Public Library (Tenleytown Metro) at 1pm. All are welcome to attend and encouraged to sign up to become a member.

Details

This is a very important meetup for everyone to attend, as we will be doing Board elections and updating everyone on what Wikimedia DC is doing. It's an opportunity for everyone to get involved and help do cool, fun stuff. If you can only attend one meetup this year, this should be it!

In preparation for the Board elections, we are seeking candidates. We encourage you to consider being a candidate. This is a rewarding opportunity for you to help make a difference and lead in decision-making. :) The deadline for submitting your candidacy is 11:59pm EDT on September 24, 2011.

Following the meeting, we can socialize at a nearby restaurant.
