Damn it Oakshade, if somebody is notable then find a source to prove it and slap it on the two sentence article that you spent five seconds creating. Invest some effort into your articles before submitting them, or everyone is going constantly be on your back about it. This guy broadcast the D-Day invasion, has a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, etc. This source has his birth date/place, death date/place and more, and took typing "George Hicks" Broadcaster into Google.
