You have been blocked temporarily from editing for personal attacks and general incivility. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make useful contributions. If you would like to be unblocked, you may appeal this block by adding the text {{unblock|reason=Your reason here ~~~~}}, but you should read the guide to appealing blocks first.
It is obvious you are not a new user, and do not need warnings for behavior you know is against Misplaced Pages rules. You previously edited under the IP address 190.46.95.25 (talk · contribs) and displayed the same behavior. If you wish to edit articles at Misplaced Pages, please choose to interact with people differently. --Jayron32 04:13, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
IP, I can't disagree with Jayron's decision to block. I will say this: I think you got a rough ride at Hermann Fegelein, but "fuck you cunt" (to paraphrase some of your commentary) is not a productive avenue and it is likely to get you blocked, in which case no one wins. FWIW, I think your edit to the article was an improvement, but I'm not going to stick my neck out for someone who can't keep their cool. When this is over, or you skip on to the next IP (but wait til the block is over or you'll be in more trouble), I hope you'll prove the very trite but very true cliche that cooler heads prevail. If you do, I'll support any productive edit you make. Drmies (talk) 04:46, 22 November 2011 (UTC)
Thanks for your note, Drmies. Of course I basically agree with you. Problem is, in my experience, whether I am polite or whether I am spectacularly rude, it makes no difference. People still revert good edits for no reason. Your reasonable attitude is an extreme minority, sad to say. 190.45.54.212 (talk) 12:09, 22 November 2011 (UTC)

Hi again; I'm sure you remember me. FYI there is a discussion here. I realize you cannot participate at the moment. 1) I do understand your frustration, and have witnessed now many occasions, for at least the last month, where your perfectly good edits were reverted with "rv vandalism" (or equivalent) summaries. That's not right, and I sympathize. 2) You're going to have a hard time getting help if you don't try to restrain your abusive tone. See Jayron's response to my comment on the ANI thread. To anyone else reading this: do NOT casually revert IP edits if they're done in good faith without giving a reason in the edit summary. I am seeing this happening more and more, and the level of care taken by our vandalism patrollers seems to be dropping. It's a problem that needs wider attention. Antandrus (talk) 06:49, 22 November 2011 (UTC)

Hi again Antandrus. I agree with your point two, of course - I mean that sincerely. My problem is that I've been editing anonymously for a while, I really don't know how long, and time was that I didn't have any problems with people randomly and arbitrarily undoing my work. At some point this began to happen. It is incredibly offensive. In fact, to me, it is much more offensive than if someone called me a cunt. The first time, I assumed it was an isolated incident, but then it happened again... and again... and again. At least 10 times, and perhaps 20 times or more, my edits have been reverted, often with no explanation, and sometimes with accusations of vandalism. It's been many months since the first time. And whether you take a polite tone, or you just mouth off at everyone, the end result is exactly the same. I have seen probably three or maybe four editors, yourself included, who have taken what I thought was the obvious view that you shouldn't arbitrarily revert IP edits, and I have seen at least ten times as many editors who revert arbitrarily, and plenty who invent post-hoc justifications for their actions.
These arbitrary reverts are a real slap in the face. I get more satisfaction out of responding viciously than I would out of responding politely, and the end result is exactly the same. It's very, very depressing to see how reasonable, sensible people like yourself became the minority. Believe me, if you were the majority, I would not be viciously slagging off anyone.
My IP will change at some point, I don't force it to but it does. I have no respect for the blocks that result from me being accused of vandalism, so I ignore them. And I keep on trying to improve articles, and eventually, the same will happen. So be it. 190.45.54.212 (talk) 11:57, 22 November 2011 (UTC)

Editing under other IP addresses while blocked

Doesn't help your case and is a serious violation of WP:SOCK policies. I would recommend ceasing editing activities until your initial block expires. -OberRanks (talk) 02:51, 23 November 2011 (UTC)
