A "Gaming Community"

A gaming community is usually a group of like minded individuals working towards a goal (such as premoting fair play and team work) or supporting each other within games (usually online games such as MMORPG's or FPS's.)

They use their collective clout to set an example to others in game or within the gaming world. To see a "tag" on the end of a players name to show they belong to a community (such as Fair Play Gaming Community) can signify that the player follows the code of conduct of that community and for instance wants to premote fair play within the gaming arena.

There are lots of different communities through out the online world.
