Ronald Glen Davis (born January 1 1986 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana) is a college basketball player for Louisiana State University. He is a 6'9", 310 lb power forward and is widely considered a future NBA Draft pick. The SEC's coaches voted him the 2006 SEC Player of the Year, and he was also named to the All-SEC first team. In 2006, as a sophomore, Glen led the Tigers to their first Final Four since 1986. Yet in the crucial game of National Semifinals, LSU lost to UCLA by a wide margin in the first half and never managed a come-back. While Davis was expected as a difference-maker should the game come close, he shot poorly from the field(17 points) and only made 4 freethrows out of 10. He eventually fouled out and contributed by the least acceptable standard as considered by his coach and fans.
