Firefly first aired in 2002 on Fox, although the episodes were aired out of the intended order. Three of the fourteen episodes went unaired in the original broadcasts by Fox, but were subsequently aired on the Sci Fi Channel in the UK. A sequel movie, Serenity, was released in 2005.

The entire series and the movie are available on all DVD regions and available on Blu-ray.
