Borough?

A 1921 law established the Borough of Basking Ridge, pending a referendum. I guess this didn't pass, since I can't find anything else about it, except for an entry in "The Story of New Jersey's Civil Boundaries, 1606-1968", which probably states that it was defeated. Given page numbers, others that were proposed include West Belmar Borough and Wyckoff Borough. --NE2 11:47, 11 June 2008 (UTC)

That is an awful map! Is Basking Ridge actually on it someplace? Can't a better one be found with the area more clearly located? Student7 (talk) 12:39, 11 June 2008 (UTC)
