It is widely regarded as the second best law school in the U.S. state of Ohio and is currently ranked #51 in the 2007 U.S. News & World Report graduate school rankings. In addition to the J.D., Case offers an LL.M. in US Law to foreign lawyers.
Notable Faculty
- Michael Scharf - An expert on international law, Mr. Scharf was nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize in 2005. Mr. Scharf assisted in the training of the judges in Iraq's Saddam Hussein trial.
- Henry King - A former Nuremberg prosecutor.
- Juliet Kostritsky - An expert on Promissory Estoppel, Mrs. Kostritsky was the former chair of the Contracts division of the AALS.
- Lew Katz - An expert on Criminal Law and author of significant portions of the Ohio Criminal Code, Mr. Katz is running for congress in Ohio.
