Service name in OfCom licence issued for London weekend service is ITV1 (London) NOT ITV1 (London Weekend)
If you bothered to look at the OFFICIAL service name which OfCom uses in the LICENCE issued for the London weekend service of Channel 3, as detailed at http://www.ofcom.org.UK/tv/ifi/tvlicensing/tvupdates/monthly/200811, you will see that it is ITV1 (London) NOT ITV1 (London Weekend).

Orphaned non-free image File:Genette Tate reconstruction.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Genette Tate reconstruction.jpg. The image description page currently specifies that the image is non-free and may only be used on Misplaced Pages under a claim of fair use. However, the image is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Misplaced Pages. If the image was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that images for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Misplaced Pages (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of "file" pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free images not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. Courcelles 03:34, 15 January 2011 (UTC)
File:Charlotte Coleman Worzel Annual Cover.jpg listed for deletion
A file that you uploaded or altered, File:Charlotte Coleman Worzel Annual Cover.jpg, has been listed at Misplaced Pages:Files for deletion. Please see the discussion to see why this is (you may have to search for the title of the image to find its entry), if you are interested in it not being deleted. Thank you. feydey (talk) 12:08, 12 February 2011 (UTC)
Politicians and their ideological leanings
Biographies of Australian MPs (and perhaps other MPs internationally) avoid using black and white terms of left wing and right wing. At what point does an MP and their history make them technically left/right wing and technically not? We have more intellectual terms (and probably reliably citeable) at our disposal to describe them, rather than the lazy and polarising left/right wing terms. Personally I think later in the sentence mentioning that she is a former CPA member speaks for itself really, left-wing on top of the above is superfluous. People can make their own broad sweeping judgements if they wish to do so. Please review your edit. Timeshift (talk) 21:25, 16 February 2011 (UTC)

Fair use rationale for File:Oranges are not the only fruit.jpg
Thanks for uploading or contributing to File:Oranges are not the only fruit.jpg. I notice the file page specifies that the file is being used under fair use but there is not a suitable explanation or rationale as to why each specific use in Misplaced Pages constitutes fair use. Please go to the file description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale.
If you have uploaded other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on those pages too. You can find a list of 'file' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Misplaced Pages page when you are logged in), and then selecting "File" from the dropdown box. Note that any non-free media lacking such an explanation will be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If the file is already gone, you can still make a request for undeletion and ask for a chance to fix the problem. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. We hope (talk) 16:18, 1 March 2011 (UTC)
Homophobia Article
Well done for clearing the NARTH crap from the article, it amounted to having Adolf Hitler's opinion on an article about Jews and Poland. Thumbs up! Jenova20 14:44, 25 March 2011 (UTC)
Re: Judith Barsi
Hi. To my knowledge, no one is really sure what happened to Josef's remains. I've never read (or heard) he was buried in an unmarked grave at Forest Lawn. It could be possible, but I certainly hope it's not true. Pinkadelica 18:19, 2 April 2011 (UTC)
License tagging for File:Xyz026.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Xyz026.jpg. You don't seem to have indicated the license status of the image. Misplaced Pages uses a set of image copyright tags to indicate this information.
To add a tag to the image, select the appropriate tag from this list, click on this link, then click "Edit this page" and add the tag to the image's description. If there doesn't seem to be a suitable tag, the image is probably not appropriate for use on Misplaced Pages. For help in choosing the correct tag, or for any other questions, leave a message on Misplaced Pages:Media copyright questions. Thank you for your cooperation. --ImageTaggingBot (talk) 00:08, 18 May 2011 (UTC)
Lee Rhiannon
You currently appear to be engaged in an edit war according to the reverts you have made on Lee Rhiannon. Users are expected to collaborate with others and avoid editing disruptively.
In particular, the three-revert rule states that:
- Making more than three reversions on a single page within a 24-hour period is almost always grounds for an immediate block.
- Do not edit war even if you believe you are right.
If you find yourself in an editing dispute, use the article's talk page to discuss controversial changes; work towards a version that represents consensus among editors. You can post a request for help at an appropriate noticeboard or seek dispute resolution. In some cases it may be appropriate to request temporary page protection. If you continue to edit war, you may be blocked from editing without further notice.Tiggerjay (talk) 15:19, 24 May 2011 (UTC)

Image tagging for File:Maia Brewton.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Maia Brewton.jpg. You don't seem to have said where the image came from or who created it. We require this information to verify that the image is legally usable on Misplaced Pages, and because most image licenses require giving credit to the image's creator.
To add this information, click on this link, then click the "Edit" tab at the top of the page and add the information to the image's description. If you need help, post your question on Misplaced Pages:Media copyright questions.
For more information on using images, see the following pages:

Your comments on Talk:Lee Rhiannon
If you cannot separate contributors from the contributions they make, and cannot resist continual personal attacks against editors who you have a content dispute with, your presence is not overly helpful in the discussion. You should familiarise yourself with our policies on personal attacks and assuming good faith, regardless of what you assume or know to be the affiliations of any particular editor. bou·le·var·dier (talk) 15:56, 16 July 2011 (UTC)
Samantha Smith image
By overwriting the Samantha Smith image File:Samanta-grus.JPG recently the fair-use rationale is now inaccurate, especially as the source is improper. Ideally, as this is a completely new image you should upload it under a new name with full details. ww2censor (talk) 04:02, 24 July 2011 (UTC)
File permission problem with File:Maia Brewton.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Maia Brewton.jpg. I noticed that while you provided a valid copyright licensing tag, there is no proof that the creator of the file agreed to license it under the given license.
If you created this media entirely yourself but have previously published it elsewhere (especially online), please either
- make a note permitting reuse under the CC-BY-SA or another acceptable free license (see this list) at the site of the original publication; or
- Send an email from an address associated with the original publication to permissions-enwikimedia.org, stating your ownership of the material and your intention to publish it under a free license. You can find a sample permission letter here. If you take this step, add {{OTRS pending}} to the file description page to prevent premature deletion.
If you did not create it entirely yourself, please ask the person who created the file to take one of the two steps listed above, or if the owner of the file has already given their permission to you via email, please forward that email to permissions-enwikimedia.org.
If you believe the media meets the criteria at Misplaced Pages:Non-free content, use a tag such as {{non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Misplaced Pages:File copyright tags#Fair use, and add a rationale justifying the file's use on the article or articles where it is included. See Misplaced Pages:File copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have provided evidence that their copyright owners have agreed to license their works under the tags you supplied, too. You can find a list of files you have created in your upload log. Files lacking evidence of permission may be deleted one week after they have been tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. You may wish to read the Misplaced Pages's image use policy. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. ■ MMXX 00:31, 8 November 2011 (UTC)

Disappearance of April Fabb
Thank you for restoring the Robert Black reference on the April Fabb page. It was promptly reverted by Bbb23, as has happened several times before. However, I have reinstated the reference, as it has been sourced and Bbb23 seems to be very selective in his deletion of Robert Black other possible crimes. Don't be surprised if an edit war starts, as this has happened before. It is such a shame, but appears to be the work of someone who has nothing better to do than wholesale deletions. With best regards, David David J Johnson (talk) 16:46, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
As I stated above the "Deletion King", Bbb23; has reverted the Black reference yet again claiming the deletion was agreed at BLP, which it wasn't. However, he still leaves in the other references to the Black/Fabb case on the Robert Black page and the Gennette Tate pages. I find his arrogance, with his many deletions every day, breathtaking. I would appreciate your views on what to do? With best regards, David David J Johnson (talk) 19:56, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
