Delay in freeing username
A user at Misplaced Pages:Help desk#Unable to reset password wants the name Ravilov. The only account at Special:CentralAuth/Ravilov was a unified account with home at fr:. It was renamed yesterday in but the username Ravilov is still not available for creation. User:Ravilov says it is not registered. Special:CentralAuth/Ravilov shows the creation date of the renamed fr:User:Ravilov_old.. Do you know whether this is a normal delay and the user just has to wait? - Can you tell him to try it now? I used my steward rights to delete the SUL. It appears to be a glich that the SUL can exist without any local accounts attached to it. MBisanz 22:02, 13 May 2012 (UTC)

Calling all talk page stalkers
I've updated User:MBisanz/Recall to reflect my own changes in userrights, and also for changes to MediaWiki, over the last few years. I've replaced some clerks who have gone inactive and tried to better differentiate among roles. - I don't have a comment as to changes, but for whatever my opinion is worth I think that's one of the best criteria I've seen. It seems to be a real good balance of not having too many hoops to jump through to get one started, but enough of a balance so you're not doing monthly reconfirmation RFA's.--Cube lurker (talk) 20:33, 14 May 2012 (UTC)

Suppress username?
This user's edits consisted entirely of attacks on someone of the same name. I have blocked the account and RD-ed where necessary, but should the account be renamed as well? Regards, JohnCD (talk) 09:03, 16 May 2012 (UTC)

Changing SpeakFree to Targaryen
Why does it take so long to change my username to Targaryen? The target user has 0 edits on enwp, has no SUL account and doesn't have an e-mail address specified and there were no problems found by the bot. I see you changed the name for Mahdi.hajiha he put in his request 10 days after me. SpeakFree 21:14, 17 May 2012 (UTC)

Does this get fixed automagically eventually? And what happened to my accounts on other projects, do I have to ask for renames there individually or are all SUL accounts renamed as a consequence? Status Update
Hi MBisanz! Today I was nominated for autopatrol by an editor after spamming up New Pages with around 300 stub article, all are 'sourced well intentioned'. This is due to the fact that I noticed a gap for the articles on Misplaced Pages. I did not nominate myself. Anyway, it was supported by Dr. Blofeld and a few more editors (some on my talk page) and I ended up being granted, as I made too much work for NPPers. :) -Tomtomn00 (talk • contributions) 22:26, 18 May 2012 (UTC)
