I've posted on the article talk page, substantially prior to this message. I'm not seeing a discussion, just a wall of text from you. ~ mazca 23:43, 5 November 2010 (UTC)

Another Schwyz sock?

Could you take a look at Misplaced Pages:Sockpuppet_investigations/Schwyz as I've added another suspected sock (asking the admin that has just blocked as well). Dpmuk (talk) 13:30, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

Heh, I'd just noticed him at ANI. I got the orange bar popping up on the block screen! Thanks ~ mazca 13:34, 6 November 2010 (UTC)
Cheers - The ANI editors did make it pretty obvious. Dpmuk (talk) 13:50, 6 November 2010 (UTC)

{{Enough}}

Haha. Bishonen | talk 16:50, 9 November 2010 (UTC).

It is indeed a handy template; and I really couldn't think of anywhere more deserving of it than that topic. :) ~ mazca 16:59, 9 November 2010 (UTC)

My Apologies

I did not mean to do that on the Joseph Stella page as vandalism. There was some information at the top of the page that was relevant to the article but I failed to read the bottom part which was the vandalism part which on my part was my fault and I apologize for my wrongdoings. Thanks

Thanks for the clear explanation you gave when closing Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/C. George Sandulescu. Xxanthippe (talk) 01:42, 28 November 2010 (UTC).

You're very welcome! ~ mazca 12:24, 28 November 2010 (UTC)

http://en.wikipedia.org/Neon_Genesis_Evangelion_glossary

Instead of ignorantly deleting an article that explain a lot about a certain topic, you could instead transfer it to the relevant wikia so people can actually make use of the information, without having someone like you taking the lazy way out and just deleting it. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.47.140.153 (talk) 12:39, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

As I said at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Neon Genesis Evangelion glossary, I am happy to undelete the content of the article somewhere if you or someone else has genuine intention to transfer it somewhere useful, such as Wikia. I never intended to do this myself, given that I know very little about the subject matter. Should you wish to take me up on this offer, by all means let me know. ~ mazca 18:00, 2 December 2010 (UTC)

Happy Holidays!

          Happy Holidays!
Dear Mazca,
Best wishes to you and your family this holiday season, whether you are celebrating Christmas or a different holiday. It's a special time of the year for almost everyone, and there's always a reason to spread the holiday spirit! ;)
Love,

Genre warrior has returned

Hi there. The genre warrior is back again, changing genres in music related articles without providing any sources for the edits. Might be a good idea to keep a watchful admin eye on this IP editor. Thanks. Amsaim (talk) 19:01, 7 January 2011 (UTC)

And here I was hoping he'd eventually get bored of it. Blocked for another three months, let me know if you spot him coming back. Thanks once again for your vigilance. ~ mazca 00:02, 8 January 2011 (UTC)

In case anyone's looking for me...

...I'm not dead. I just haven't felt much enthusiasm for Misplaced Pages recently and I'm sure a break will do me good. I'll be back around in the not-too-distant future. I'm still intermittently checking my talkpage, and sending me a Misplaced Pages email will get my attention quickly if it's something urgent. All the best. ~ mazca 14:34, 29 January 2011 (UTC)

Evangaelion Glossary Deletion

Why was this deleted? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 70.241.69.21 (talk) 04:39, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

Consensus at Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/Neon Genesis Evangelion glossary was in favour of deleting it. ~ mazca 12:54, 22 February 2011 (UTC)

Talk:List of YouTube personalities#RfC: The criteria for inclusion on List of YouTube personalities

Hi Mazca. Because you participated in Misplaced Pages:Articles for deletion/List of YouTube celebrities (4th nomination), your input is sought at Talk:List of YouTube personalities#RfC: The criteria for inclusion on List of YouTube personalities. There are disputes over who should be and who shouldn't be included in the list. Cunard (talk) 23:12, 6 March 2011 (UTC)

MSU Interview

Dear Mazca,

My name is Jonathan Obar user:Jaobar, I'm a professor in the College of Communication Arts and Sciences at Michigan State University and a Teaching Fellow with the Wikimedia Foundation's Education Program. This semester I've been running a little experiment at MSU, a class where we teach students about becoming Misplaced Pages administrators. Not a lot is known about your community, and our students (who are fascinated by wiki-culture by the way!) want to learn how you do what you do, and why you do it. A while back I proposed this idea (the class) to the communityHERE, where it was met mainly with positive feedback. Anyhow, I'd like my students to speak with a few administrators to get a sense of admin experiences, training, motivations, likes, dislikes, etc. We were wondering if you'd be interested in speaking with one of our students.

So a few things about the interviews:

  • Interviews will last between 15 and 30 minutes.
  • Interviews can be conducted over skype (preferred), IRC or email. (You choose the form of communication based upon your comfort level, time, etc.)
  • All interviews will be completely anonymous, meaning that you (real name and/or pseudonym) will never be identified in any of our materials, unless you give the interviewer permission to do so.
  • All interviews will be completely voluntary. You are under no obligation to say yes to an interview, and can say no and stop or leave the interview at any time.
  • The entire interview process is being overseen by MSU's institutional review board (ethics review). This means that all questions have been approved by the university and all students have been trained how to conduct interviews ethically and properly.

Bottom line is that we really need your help, and would really appreciate the opportunity to speak with you. If interested, please send me an email at obar@msu.edu (to maintain anonymity) and I will add your name to my offline contact list. If you feel comfortable doing so, you can post your nameHERE instead.

If you have questions or concerns at any time, feel free to email me at obar@msu.edu. I will be more than happy to speak with you.

Thanks in advance for your help. We have a lot to learn from you.

Sincerely,

Jonathan Obar --Jaobar (talk) — Preceding unsigned comment added by Chlopeck (talkcontribs) 04:06, 20 February 2012 (UTC)
