The Rangers Football Club Ltd is a limited company formed in June 2012 as part of a bid to reform Rangers F.C. which entered liquidation procedures on 14 June 2012. It has applied to register with the Scottish Football Association and to participate in the Scottish Premier League.

Formation

Charles Green's consortium bought assets from the football club Rangers F.C. (which trades as "The Rangers Football Club plc") after it went into liquidation on the 14th of June 2012. These assets became the property of Sevco 5088 Ltd. Sevco 5088 Ltd's name was subsequently changed from Sevco to "The Rangers Football Club Ltd." also on the same day. Many assets were bought from Rangers F.C., including the stadium, the training facilities and many smaller assets such the Rangers F.C. club crest, plant and equipment. As of February 2012 no assets have been sold nor financial reparations have been made to the main creditors.
