Daz Sampson is a British dance music producer and vocalist.
He is best known for his commercial dance music, often reworking older songs. His credits include songs such as "Out of Touch" (as a member of Uniting Nations), "Rhinestone Cowboy" (as a member of Rikki & Daz) and "Kung Fu Fighting" (as a member of Bus Stop).
On 4 March 2006, Sampson won the BBC show Making Your Mind Up. He will represent the UK in the Eurovision Song Contest on 20 May 2006 in Athens. His winning song, "Teenage Life", was written and produced with John Matthews (aka Ricardo Autobahn) from the Cuban Boys, who were responsible for the infamous "Hampster Dance" hit "Cognoscenti Vs. Intelligentsia" in 1999.
Trivia
- Daz Sampson is reknowned for his short fuse, sometimes using excessive force to calm down the younger female members of his troupe in times of "panic"

- Daz Sampson's wikipedia entry has been the subject of an unprecedented amount of editing lately. Much of this has alluded to the suspect nature of his video and song that he is taking, much to the shame of the country, to Eurovision. Furthermore, there seems to be a consensus among many people that Daz's music is bad cheese.
- Daz Sampson visits this site about 400 times a day. He has to so that he can re-edit the aforementioned objections to the bilge he turns out.
- Daz is rumoured to be working on a recording with Maxine Carr of "Stand By Your Man".
