Suspected sockpuppets

Same editing behavior and subjects, same bombardment of CN tags () on articles, bold editor acting like a novice, using incivil comments and insults, also same demerging without discussion that is identical to 194.145.185.229 (talk · contribs · WHOIS) before being blocked. (), as well as seeding his edits and edit history with exclamations like "Jesus Christ" as with the blocked IP (). Darth Sjones23 (talk - contributions) 19:56, 26 July 2012 (UTC)

I'm the same person (or at least technically; I didn't use such a nickname since 2008), but an accusation of "using incivil comments and insults" is completely false, regarding "bombardment of CN tags", WP:V is a pillar of Misplaced Pages, and what Sjones23 called "demerging without discussion" was actually something completely opposite - just a revert of a merging without discussion (the article was created in seven years ago 2005 and apparently have never been merged, for a good reason). I have many other issues with quality of Sjones23's very reckless edits (like he also "forgot" to inform me that I'm under investigation), but that's not the subject now.

Now, I want to make a statement regarding my presence here on Misplaced Pages. I want to point to following facts:

  • There was never any fundamental fault in all of my 16,611 live edits in 2,716 articles in just little over 4 months since March 16, 2012 (over 90% of it being content edits, which I guess makes me some of the most active editors in all Misplaced Pages) and I invite anyone to check the quality of these edits for themselves; I believe they are top-notch (except some of possible minor grammar problems, I'm not from an English speaking country). Of these recent edits, I've completely rewritten (or basically wrote) hundreds of articles and I think several of these rewrite might deserve GA class (a dozen or so have already "easily" got to C-class and have been just not checked for any higher).
  • My patrolling activity in the same time period also led to the blockings of several vandals and spammers, and blacklisting on several spam websites (possibly most notably, gas chamber denial website "scrapbookpages.com" which was used for references and external links in nearly 100 Holocaust-related articles for several years).
  • Three different editors also gave me barnstars (I've never asked for any, or ever gave any to anyone, but they did and so I might mention it here), including one for "constant vandalism reverts and vast number of edits and cleanup".

I heard about some Misplaced Pages crisis regarding a shortage of good editors nowadays and so I want to use this occasion to request a reconsideration of my status here. I did interact with several admins regarding my anti-vandalism/spam activity (most recently, Daniel Case), you can also ask them for their opinion. Anyone can thoughtfully check my edit history since March and see if my impact of Misplaced Pages was any negative or was it actually positive, and how much. That's all. --Niemti (talk) 12:07, 27 July 2012 (UTC
