Template documentation[view] [edit] [history] [purge]This template is used on approximately 67,000 pages and changes may be widely noticed. Test changes in the template's /sandbox or /testcases subpages, or in your own user subpage. Consider discussing changes on the talk page before implementing them. |
This template can be used to create a "link note" which can be used to flag an external link for some reason, such as with {{registration required}}. It can add pages to a category to track such links as well. Note that this is an informational template rather than a cleanup tag: for issues which require cleanup, use {{fix}}.
Usage
{{link note|note=Registration required|cat=Pages containing links or citations to sites that require registration}}
The text after "note=" is displayed in the text in parentheses, e.g. (Registration required)
