Heather Phares of Allmusic says the album is "one of the better volumes in the series" with "a decent collection of songs, and the odder moments on it are mostly pleasantly surprising instead of questionable." The "Kidz Bop-ified cover of Modest Mouse's 'Float On' ... is pretty much in keeping with the entire series' slightly surreal feel," and "the verison of 'Lose My Breath' is nearly as odd, and oddly exhilarating."
