Nice work on File:Jewell Cemetery.JPG. Thanks. HornColumbia talk 04:50, 12 January 2012 (UTC)
- Thanks for providing the picture. I don't think I'd make it to that one any time soon. --Kbh3talk 05:01, 12 January 2012 (UTC)

10251/E2 pix
Thanks for the shot of the Bi-polar E2. It was cool to find out it was the 10251 train-puller in the older pix. I used it on a page following the rail-trail in the Cascades where it used to work - http://gazette9.com/brb/12/milrd/cle.htm - best regards, Joe Peralta — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.33.4.60 (talk) 20:20, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
- Great! Thanks for the note, and I appreciate the proper attribution which is too often neglected. --Kbh3talk 21:31, 29 April 2012 (UTC)
Your Vandal Warning Toolbox
Hello Kbh III, I have copied 'n' pasted onto my vector.js page and cleared my cache. I am on a user's page in edit mode ... but there is no change to my Toolbox over on the l.h.s of my screen.
What have I failed to do?
Regards, -- Gareth Griffith-Jones (talk) 22:58, 17 May 2012 (UTC)
- You have <nowiki> tags that don't belong there. It should look just like it does on this page. Use the preview before saving when you edit it to make sure nothing else creeps in there. Good luck, and please let me know how it goes. --Kbh3talk 01:23, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
- Thank you! I feel such a fool; I copied it from the page, rather than the Edit page ... never done that before. Now I am looking forward to working with your toolbox. I shall keep in touch. Cheers! -- Gareth Griffith-Jones (talk) 07:33, 19 May 2012 (UTC)
Central library panorama
Thanks for that one!
I've special permission to get inside the library next week for more photography, and to discuss Misplaced Pages with the Principal Librarian. So, it will be going on a new article about the library. --Brian McNeil / 08:07, 19 May 2012 (UTC)

Better source request for File:Rockwood Reservation-terrain1.jpg
Thanks for uploading File:Rockwood Reservation-terrain1.jpg. You provided a source, but it is difficult for other users to examine the copyright status of the image because the source is incomplete. Please consider clarifying the exact source so that the copyright status may be checked more easily. It is best to specify the exact Web page where you found the image, rather than only giving the source domain or the URL of the image file itself. Please update the image description with a URL that will be more helpful to other users in determining the copyright status.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source in a complete manner. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page or me at my talk page. Thank you. Stefan2 (talk) 13:47, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
- What part of "I, the copyright holder" do you not understand? I've more clearly labeled it with myself as the author. The file is in the public domain. --Kbh3talk 15:38, 17 June 2012 (UTC)
SW MO karst features, springs, caves, maps
Hi, We are trying to locate a map of caves, springs, and disappearing springs on our property in Macdonald Co MO. Could you help?

- Holly,
- Create a Misplaced Pages account and register your email address, and enable email from other users in your account preferences. Then return to this page and click on the Toolbox link in the left-side column to expand it (if it is not already expanded), and click on the E-mail this user link to send me a private message. That mechanism allows us to send messages through Misplaced Pages without actually sharing our emails with each other. I'm busy Tuesday days and evenings but will respond when I get a chance.
Llano Uplift
- Back in May you modified Llano Uplift with an infobox, and included the shaded relief map I made for the article for the geologically related Marathon Uplift. Do you know much about the LLano Uplift? I'm working on a similar shaded relief map for LLano, and I'd appreciate any suggestions. An incomplete draft copy is at right.
My knowledge about this uplift is limited. The LLano Uplift is known (by most people not living near to it) for its possessing a very old hammer that should not have been there at all. To say the least both of these uplifts are lacking in "documentaries made about them"! I know this region is tied to the Grenville orogeny, but I have only been to the Black Hills (Crazy Horse, Presidents) as a tourist.
- I don't see in this map the twisted ridges found in the Ouachita Mountains, at the Marathon Uplift, or in the Solitario.
Like the Australian Pertermann Mountains that begat Uularu and Kata Juta, the Llano Uplift is hard to spot from 10 km to 300 km where the spy satellites live. See "The Australian Time Travelers Guide", it is available free via BitTorrent (just make sure you get the one with all the episodes).
- I believe I have the right area -- it corresponds to that shown at (your URL links). I guess that feature may not be so pronounced here. I'd appreciate any suggestions on what would make a good map for this article.
I am still at a loss for knowing where to look to find a good map for this article. Your work seems fine, but any hard to see feature like this needs 3 maps to make it understandable.
UPDATE
- I would use both of your maps, they are adequate to the task.
- This uplift area does not have high relief and you need more maps to make clear the overall physical context.
- The old map of the related uplift (of the other Texas region) -- can you find a way to bring it back as the uplifting effects are at least nominally similar.
- Australia The Time Travelers Guide -- sadly, I don't expect to see it on US PBS or the Science channel any time soon. But it does have about 6 seconds of the Petermans...

Cooter, MO
The recent change you undid to Cooter, MO is actually true information. We reside in Cooter, and they do smoke and sell that dope. In the bootheel area thats what they are known for. the triple p's. we represented them factually. So please mind your own. thank you — Preceding unsigned comment added by Baldheadballer68 (talk • contribs) 15:42, 28 August 2012 (UTC)
