The fourth-generation iPad (marketed as iPad with Retina Display) is a tablet computer designed, developed, and marketed by Apple Inc. It was announced on October 23, 2012, as the fourth generation of the iPad line, and is expected to start shipping on November 2, 2012. It adds a new Apple A6X chip as well as the Lightning connector introduced with the iPhone 5.
Its pricing is the same as the third generation iPad.
History
On October 23, 2012, Apple unveiled the fourth-generation iPad, along with the iPad mini and the new generations of the MacBook Pro, Mac Mini, iMac.
